Lizzie Cundy, drawing on her experience with footballers, spoke about the recent drama involving Lauryn Goodman, Annie Kilner, and Kyle Walker: ‘Men like Kyle are cowards; he created this mess but stays quiet while the women are left to sort things out.’

Former WAG Lizzie Cundy has aired her views on the ongoing drama surrounding Lauryn Goodman as she urged the Celebs Go Dating star to have some respect.

Lizzie Cundy admits she feels “sorry” for Kyle Walker’s wife Annie Kilner.

In recent months, Annie and Kyle’s marriage has been thrown into the public domain after his brief flings with Lauryn Goodman.

The latter shares two children with the Manchester City star, son Kairo, four, and daughter Kinara, one.

Although they share two children, Walker has no contact with Goodman but continues to pay child support for the two kids.

Lauryn, 33, often shares jibes at Kyle and Annie on social media, as well as discussing her brief interactions with the England vice-captain in the media.

As Lauryn prepares to appear on E4’s Celebs Go Dating, Lizzie Cundy has explained how she feels about the situation, having previously been married to former Chelsea and Tottenham player, Jason Cundy.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Lizzie, 56, said: “I feel sorry for both Annie and Lauryn, I really feel for both of them. He’s in the wrong, without a shadow of a doubt, footballers think they’re invincible and can get away with it. From the age of seven they’re told they’re great and go on to earn huge amounts of money.

“I really do feel for Annie, she’s just had a baby and there is Lauryn and she’s got a camera crew, she’s on telly, if I was Lauryn, I’d give it a bit of time and be more respectful. It’s hard for everyone involved, he’s done wrong.

It’s very tough because there are kids involved. I did think it wasn’t good that Lauryn went to the Euros, you don’t want to be cast out from the football world which I think has happened.”

Lizzie added: “Nobody wants to be the Yoko Ono of the football world. I don’t agree with her, she knew he was with someone else at the time and had a family. I’ve had it done to me, I know that pain and what it’s like, it’s very tough.

Kyle is the baddie, I think after the court case people started to sympathise with him from all the financial demands she was making, which I don’t think Mariah Carey would even ask for.”

Lauryn took Kairo to the recent Euros tournament in Germany, claiming that Kyle had invited the pair – but a source close to Kyle hit out and claimed that this was not true. Speaking previously to the Mirror, a source close to Walker, 34, explained that he has no emotional relationship with Kairo or Kinara due to Lauryn’s decision to continually speak about him publicly and on social media.

While Lizzie is known for her commentary on shows such as This Morning or on GB News, the model and presenter has bagged her own Amazon Prime programme, Red Carpet Uncut.

Cundy will be seen chatting with some of the biggest names in showbiz including her former friend Meghan Markle, Kim Kardashian and Tom Cruise.

Speaking about the news, Lizzie said: “I’ve got my own show! What’s lovely is, I’ve had so many texts from some of the stars. Kim Kardashian, her PAs were like ‘Do not mention her bottom!’ it was what everyone wanted to talk about, of course, I did, I said ‘What a beautiful derriere you’ve got’, she asked me to sit next to her, we stayed friends.

It’s amazing how the red carpet interviews, there’s a little story behind them.

“I’ve made friends with some of Hollywood’s greatest, it’s a dream job.” But while Lizzie has made friends on the red carpet, she also admits to secretly dating a huge Hollywood movie star and enjoying a string of dinner dates. One movie star Lizzie recalls meeting is Call Me By Your Name star Armie Hammer.

In recent years, Hammer, 38, had a barrage of allegations including an interest in cannibalism. He was also accused of sexual abuse by four women. Harmer strongly denies the allegations and insists that all of his sexual encounters were consensual.

Speaking about meeting Hammer, Lizzie said: “He was very charming, a bit flirty I’ll be honest but charming. These stars put on their best show when they’re being interviewed.

“A lot of them don’t show their real selves until they get to know you a bit. To me, he was charming and well-mannered. I will say he was a little bit flirty.”
